What are the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCR)?

The CCR is the governing document for Lakeside at Canyon Oak that outlines property use, building standards, and community rules. It is recorded with the county and applies to all property owners to help maintain consistency, quality, and long-term value.

Do I need approval before building on my lot?

Yes. All home plans and site layouts must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for approval prior to construction. This ensures that all homes meet community design standards and fit within the overall vision of the development.

Are short-term rentals allowed?

Short-term rentals are permitted within the community, subject to the guidelines outlined in the CCR. The structure allows flexibility for owners while still maintaining community standards.

Can I use my own builder?

Yes. Owners may use their own builder; however, all builders and plans must be approved by the ARC prior to starting construction.
